Buffet-Style Chinese Donuts Recipe

It is warm, sweet, and fried until it is a perfect golden brown. There are a lot of Chinese donuts out there, just like these.

INGREDIENT

– 1 can buttermilk biscuit – 1/2 cup sugar – Oil for frying

INSTRUCTION

In a big heavy-bottomed pot, heat a couple inches of oil to 350 degrees. Remove the biscuits from the packaging and cut them in fourths.

Step 1

Shape them into balls and drop them into heated oil. Put 5-7 in the pot at once. First fry one side till golden, then flip and fry the other.

Step 2

Move donuts to a paper towel-lined plate. Bowl the sugar and roll the warm donuts in it. Repeat with remaining dough and consume warm!
