Air Fryer Firecracker Salmon Bite

Before airfrying, these firecracker salmon nibbles are marinated in a spicy soy-ginger mixture.  

– 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, such as canola or avocado oil – 3 tablespoons soy sauce – 1 tablespoon minced garlic – 1 tablespoon minced ginger – 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes, or more to taste – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 1/4 pounds salmon filets, cut into 1-inch cube – nonstick cooking spray

Ingredients

Whisk balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, red pepper, and salt in a bowl. Save half the marinade for serving.

Gently coat fish in remaining marinade in bowl. Marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 4 hours under plastic wrap.   

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 2–3 minutes, or as directed. Use nonstick cooking spray on air fryer basket.  

Cook salmon in a single layer, in batches if needed, until it flakes easily with a fork and is lightly browned and crisp around the edges, 6 to 8 minutes. Serve with reserved sauce.
